Emily is not your average professional. She is always thinking outside of the box and utilizing her creative side to design one of a kind products for her clients. Through her diverse experience from working in Corporate America to family-owned start-up businesses, she has gained valuable knowledge within the creative marketing space.
Upon graduating with her Bachelor's in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she was never your average student. From majoring in Music, Nursing, Accounting, and Marketing from 3 different universities across North Carolina, she was not only able to gain valuable information from each profession, but also gather hands-on experience from each one.
She always knew that she was meant to be different, whether it was through her passion for music or something bigger. That's when Em and a Pen started - turned her personal blog into a business.

Gabe is an editorial artist. Originally a paralegal, he ventured off into editing on his 25th birthday after looking over the Mississippi River with an Irish coffee in hand. He started editing for a literary agent the next day.
Gabe has worked with biographies, fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, and SciFi manuscripts. He also touches on document translation. What can he not do?
Above all, he realized that all he wanted to do was be surrounded by literature and the spoken world. He strives to make an impact that would effortlessly change his life as a creative professional.
Rachel
Social Media Specialist
After beginning her career in Business Development, Rachel naturally transitioned into marketing and social media as a way to let those fun and creative juices flow!
With a background in Education and Psychology, she finally took the plunge towards her MBA in Marketing Communications at Berkeley College!
Rachel spends a lot of time working in the non-profit world and exploring opportunities to help her community, especially grade-school girls - because girl power! She loves to enjoy a good book and knit something new, but when summer arrives she is on her kayak or putting some serious miles on her hiking boots.
